When lesson planning, it is important to have an end goal in mind. That's why backward thinking is key when it comes to writing lesson plans. I know what my students need to learn in each of my prep areas, and I plan each with the end result in mind. The second thing I do is plan my formative and summative assessments, and then I decide what activities will help students best learn the objectives. We received scratch cards in class today that I will use in my classes. During art class, we painted our backgrounds and then did the pattern cut for our art projects.
